Taiwan Center for Smart Healthcare Science and Technology in Thailand is delighted to host annual webinar series to share the latest perspectives on Smart Healthcare. The almost monthly series takes place on Thursday afternoons at about 13:00 pm @Tawian /12:00 pm @Thailand. Our invited speakers include international innovators, tech experts, entrepreneurs, educators, as well as official and industrial representatives to provide empirical and special insights into current healthcare development. ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Dr Yu-Sheng Lin, Assistant Professor, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Tainan, Taiwan

  Dr Yu-Sheng Lin is currently working at the Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering. He was former Research Fellows at Medical Device Innovation Centre (MDIC) in the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) between 2016-2020 and at Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in Queen’s University Belfast (QUB), Northern Ireland, UK, between 2014-2015. His research interests focus on applying digital technologies into healthcare and advanced manufacturing applications. He has developed skills like 3D printing, mechatronics, machine learning and AI, and integrates design principles such as TRIZ to fulfil unmet needs. So far, he has got involved in some Proof of Concept (PoC) projects to produce Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).

Dr Radit Smunyahirun, Data Scientist at Biofourmis Singapore Pte. Ltd.

  Radit Smunyahirun received a PhD degree in electrical and electronics engineering (EEE) from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore. He is currently a data scientist, experienced in ECG signal processing. He applies ML/DL algorithms for arrhythmias detection and develops them to be a reliable engine with suitable architecture and API. He works closely with other teams to deliver and satisfy clients' needs. He is also responsible for proposing new features for product development and managing multiple R&D projects at once.

Dr Theerawit Wilaiprasitporn is an Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering, an Associate Editor of IEEE Sensors Journal, and also a Track Chair of IEEE SENSORS 2021/2022. His research interest included Biomedical Signal Processing, Brain-Computer Interfaces, AI in Healthcare and Affective Computing.
